End of school news:
This summer help your child to stay in shape. The best way for children to do this is by having lots of fun: Playing outdoors, going to the park, taking a walk with their family, or trying out a new sport. If at all possible and safe, children should walk to their friends, the library or to their daycare. On rainy days they can turn on some music and dance, or practice jump rope. A jump rope is an inexpensive toy, needs little space and provides excellent aerobic workouts.
The US government recommends that children exercise 60 minutes on all or almost all days.
